We are Christians because we believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are Missionaries because we are committed to reaching people world wide and in our own community with the gospel. We are an alliance of believers working together to help each other make our world a better place to live.

John 3:16-17: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him."

What is Open Door's Committment to Ministry?

We will be real and authentic in that we will share our faith stories and struggles with others. We will be transparent with others as we are on our spiritual journey together. We will strive for quality, but at the same time not confusing quality with professionalism, realizing that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that guides us in all that we do!

• Relationships that are the basis of growth! We desire to be real and authentic with each other. Authentic, friendly, welcoming, holistic small groups. Acts 2:42

• A strong focus and emphasis on missions and outward focus! Go-Make-Teach: Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8

• To be a church planting church (1 in the first 5 years and 1 every 3 years after that.) Multiplication of leaders. Recruit-Train-Commission: 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Acts 20:25-32

• Empower people in gift-oriented ministry. Team approach to ministry.

Our calling is to present the "Good News" (through a variety of ways) to those who don't have a personal relationship with Jesus. Our values reflect Open Door's "non-negotiable" beliefs and practices.
